About Me
After I learned that my local community park was completely run down, I decided to appeal to city council to allocate some funds. I wanted somewhere fun to take my own kids, which is why I thought it was important. Last but not least, I felt like it was my responsibility as a member of the community to say something. The process was incredible. I gathered signatures from different people so that we could appeal to city council, and it was awesome to see how they reacted to the proposition. We were able to fix the park, and I decided to make this blog so that other people could see why government interaction is important.
